We used Cinco de Mayo as a party theme to wish our chaplain of over two years, Father David White, a fond farewell as he officially retires and moves on to a nearby parish where he will be able to rest a bit and help out when and where he is most needed.
The fun-filled fiesta featured a live band that specialized in Salsa music and whose infectious rhythms got many folks up and dancing. Father White and the Residents were treated to Mexican fare such as quesadillas, nachos, and guacamole along with many other treats prepared by our wonderful chef, Bastien Frennel.
We thank Father White for his years of service and his generous support to our home and look forward to his visiting us in the future from time to time as a guest celebrant of Mass in our Chapel. We wish him the best in his retirement years!
